In order to start monitoring a boat you need to add it inside the Web Dashboard's settings section.
How to add a boat:
- Login to your account: app.sailsense.io
- When logged in, click on your name on the top right corner, then choose settings.
- In the menu on the left, choose Bases.
- If you do not have any base yet or if you want to add your boat new boat to a new base, click on Add a base.
- Once done, choose Boats in the menu on the left
- To add a new boat, click Add boat.
- Here you can enter the details of your boat and base. Click add when done.
Final step
Boat added? Great. Final thing we need to do is to link your boat to the installed hardware within our systems. Please send us an email with the serial number of your Sailsense hardware, and we'll take care of it!
What's next?
Once the boat is added, do not forget to:
- edit the picture of the boat
- add documents, user manuals, blueprints, ...
- create custom alerts for this boat
- create custom maintenance plans for this boat.
