What are the different tasks and how to create them?

A task is a "to-do" or an action to be performed on one of your boats. It can be created from 4 different processes:

  1. In the Sailsense Mobile app, by one of your customers or team members. Learn more on how to report an issue.
  2. In the Tasks section (in the Fleet Management Dashboard), by one of your team members. See process below.
  3. From any submitted check-in or check-out (in the Fleet Management Dashboard), by one of your team members. See process to below.
  4. Automatically, by Sailsense's Preventive Maintenance Module. Learn more on how to create a maintenance task plan?

All tasks will appear in the Tasks section of your Fleet Management Dashboard, regardless of their source.
