The Sailsense HUB relies on mobile networks to exchange data with Sailsense's servers. This means that when the boat is sailing offshore where no mobile network is within reach, the HUB cannot communicate with Sailsense servers.
In such situations, the Hub continues to monitor the boat's systems and stores the boat data in its internal memory. Once the boat reaches a cellular network again, the HUB automatically uploads its data on Sailsense's servers, making them available for reporting.
Satellite connectivity is currently not supported but should be available in the coming months.
